I wasn’t able to do anything for spring break this year, so my boyfriend promised he would take me on vacation in August. We’re both 21 and in college, and do party, but are looking for more of a relaxing beach vacation with some exploring and snorkeling.
My boyfriend has been to Florida many times, but never to Panama City, and I have never been to Florida, so I’m unsure of what to do there, and if it’s a good vacation spot for us.
I am looking into staying at Summit Condos, because the price is right there. The location is on Thomas Drive. What are some fun things to do in the area? I have heard about Shell Island and the dolphin tours, has anyone gone there and done them and are they fun?
Also how is the water there? Is it clear, and good for snorkeling and swimming?
Basically any info, comments, thoughts, and stories on Panama City would be great! I’m just trying to get some real-life info before I actually book the place I’m looking at.

My family always goes to Rosemary Which is about 10 miles from panama city.. The beaches and the water is beautiful ! You can see right to the bottom. We love it there. You should know that Panama is a little touristy though … but yes! you will have fun!
