Given the choice I would choose Biltmore due to the possibility of weather being a problem in August in Destin.
I will suggest a place that I have always thought would be amazing for a wedding. If the Atlanta area might work for you check out
Chateau Elan. It is beautiful, private, peaceful, and your guests and wedding party can stay on-site.

agree with JS, Biltmore, Asheville in August will be amazing – I used to live in the area. moreover, Asheville friend of mine got married few months ago and couldn’t stop prizing their wedding planner; they used http://www.asheville-events.com (I saved it in my bookmarks for the future
