Orlando is more family orientated, safer and friendly, lots of theme parks with kids running around. Miami is more known for night clubs, sex on the beaches, Miami is a lot more dangerous than Orlando if you don't know where you're going you're screwed because a lot of people don't speak English in Miami and are worthless. Try not to look like a tourist so you'll avoid getting robbed. Be careful in Miami. Miami or Orlando are both great choices, it depends on what you want.
