my boyfriend and I are taking a trip to Florida to get out of Michigans cold winter weather. We only want to spend about 500$ and we have a place to stay. The thing is we wont have a rental car so we will be walking and taking taxis everywhere during our 5 day vacation. Would we be better off sticking to orlando and going to some of the parks there or is there lots to do in Miami?We want to relax by the pool but we also want to do things during the day not just eat and drink

Miami or Orlando are both great choices, it depends on what you want.
Orlando is more family orientated, safer and friendly, lots of theme parks with kids running around.
Miami is more known for night clubs, sex on the beaches, Miami is a lot more dangerous than Orlando if you don't know where you're going you're screwed because a lot of people don't speak English in Miami and are worthless. Try not to look like a tourist so you'll avoid getting robbed. Be careful in Miami.
