I am on vacation and was told to remove my dog from the beach or I would receive a fine. I am on the beaches of Pensacola and Gulf Breeze. I have NEVER been to FL, first time and I am shocked that no dogs are allowed? Can anybody PLEASE help me find any information online that can confirm this?
Before I planned my vacation i was NEVER told no pets, and figured since the hotel allows pets. PLEASE help me find something, anything that will end my frustration of being told to remove my pet 
Oh.. btw.. I was told this by a random guy that takes care of the rental beach furniture on the beaches.

I can confirm that Pensacola beaches do not allow dogs. The sand is usually so hot, it would burn their feet, anyway. There is a park on the bay in Pensacola that does allow dogs.
