I have come to the conclusion that I am going to have to go somewhere that I can drive to in under 15 hours, seeming how I have some financial dilemmas. I only have around 1000 to spend on a 3 night 4 day vacation, and a rental car. Where is a nice place to go in Florida where we can enjoy some beautiful blue water and catch some rayz and relaxation… I live in Virginia Beach, if that helps with the whole 15 hour drive thing. Thanks!

Some people don't like Jacksonville Beaches but I like them. They aren't Bahama beaches (which are so blue it's unbelievable) but you get sun, you get water, and a good beach community. Overall, North Florida (Jax, St. Augustine, etc is nice for beaches but we are still more of a southern town. If you are looking for more latin Floridian culture go further south.
But in Jacksonville we do have some clubs, some nightlife. some great restaurants, visit the 5 pts part of town if you come. We are also close to other cities and towns. St. Augustine is just 45 minutes away which has some great history as the oldest town in Florida and tours. Visit Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum. We are also about an hour from Georgia. North Florida is also gonna be less expensive than further south. Mostly we are friendly. I've also been to Daytona beaches, very cool. Plus it's less of a drive than So. Florida. And obviously Miami is beautiful and has some great culture and the nightlife never stops. Everything in Jacksonville is pretty much gonna end by 10 on weeknights, and 2 on weekends.
