So Recentley my aunt lost her job,and to make matters worse,she broke her foot…..she doesnt have insurance and now has to have a 30,000 dollar surgery……My parents were almost forced into the situation we are in now…she came crying to us asking if we could move in for the next 4 months because she also takes care of my 71 year old grandmother……me and my family had plans to go down to florida and take my neice to disney,we also hat plans to take a vacation up to new york….now we wont be able to leave her house almost 24/7 i latley have been really getting upset,first of all my parents and i will have to be doing everything for them while my dad also manages his own buisness….not only that but to stay with them we will be paying "rent" to live there so she can afford her monthley bills…..I love them and i really want to help my aunt out…but i hate giving up everything….this means i have to pack up clothing and everything else i own and give up on everything i was planning to do these next couple of months…….Am i being a brat or is it unfair that i have to give up all of this?

.You’re not being a brat and it’s understandable you’d be upset at having to give up all the fun stuff your family had planned…but you also need to learn that’s what family does for each other. When someone is in need you don’t go off and party and play and tell them "sorry charlie"…you change your plans and you do what you know is the right thing to do, because they are your family.
Sure, it can be a drag….but there’ll be other opportunities to do those things in the future. Hang in there. If the situation were reversed and you were in dire need, wouldn’t you want your family and friends to come to your aid, or would you be okay if they just left you to figure it out for yourself while they went and took vacations and had fun because helping you would be an inconvenience?
Priorities…family comes first (or should).
